Our Story.

Brae has been created by brother and sister team, Jodie and Dale Barbour. If you visited Chapelton Farmers’ back in 2020, you may know us better as the family team behind Breer Pie Co.

Dale is a trained chef and works in the brae production kitchen in Blackburn, preparing cakes, traybakes, scones, soup, sausage rolls and salads for the cafe each week. Dale is the lead in all things food-related. Jodie manages the kitchen and front of house team at the cafe and is in charge of all things coffee, social media and vibe!
