Welcome to Brae — your local spot to relax, refuel, and feel right at home. Whether you’re popping in with the kids, catching up with friends, or grabbing a perfectly made coffee, Brae is all about good food and even better vibes.

Our menu focuses on high-quality ingredients, comforting favourites, and delicious treats — perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a well-earned cake stop.

We serve carefully sourced, expertly brewed specialty coffee. It’s smooth, balanced and full of flavour. Our house blend is provided by Aberdeen specialty coffee roasters ‘Figment.’ It’s a perfect match for our housemade bakes, pastries and sweet treats - definitely worth the 15 minute drive from Aberdeen to visit.

We serve brunch from opening until 11:30am and lunch from midday until 2:30pm. Everything is made in-house. It’s fresh, small batch and delicious.

Our full menu is available for sit-in or takeaway and if you’re visiting with kids, take a look at our ‘Kids Corner’ for further information to help plan your day out.

The Hatch

Our side hatch is open when the cafe itself is open, perfect for those with dogs, prams or bikes.

Give us a chap at The Hatch, grab a takeaway coffee and discover Chapelton. We have outdoor seating, picnic blankets and cozy blankets available for you to use.

Please note, only guide dogs and assistance dogs inside please but you are more than welcome to use out outdoor seating. Please ask at the hatch for the water bowl to be filled and taken outside for your dog if required.
